About Ed Thompson Insurance Agency

Ed Thompson began his insurance carrier in 2001 and started the Ed Thompson Insurance Agency in July 2005. Graduated with a Marketing degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha and was a Quarterback for the Mavericks in 1995-1998. Ed has been on Advisory Councils with different insurance companies and has really enjoyed building relationships with his clients. Ed’s goal is to give insurance clients the best option in insurance coverage and have reasonable pricing. When not involved in insurance, Ed loves spending time with family, from coaching his kids, being a spectator, or doing as much as possible with them.

Greg Wiemers graduated from Kearney State in 1991 with his bachelors degree in business. He began working in the golf industry and got certified as a PGA Golf Professional. He spent 29 years as a Director of Golf in Omaha, running every aspect of the business including staffing, event planning, teaching, financials, etc., but his favorite part of the job was always meeting so many people and ensuring good customer service. Working in insurance allows him to continue building relationships with customers and help them find reasonable coverage for them and their family. Outside work, Greg is a family guy spending time with his wife and kids. They enjoy being together on the golf course.
